The initiative aims to spread messages of love, compassion, humanity, and the importance of the environment and nature, especially during times of adversity and natural disasters.

The Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association in Hanoi, the Pushkin Institute, and the Long Bien District People’s Committee jointly organized this year’s competition.

The contest is one of the highlights commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Hanoi Liberation Day (October 10) and the 75th anniversary of Vietnam-Russia diplomatic relations (1950-2025).

Duong Hoai Nam, Chairman of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association in Hanoi, shared that the contest serves as an educational platform for the youth of both countries, fostering a deeper understanding of the strong friendship, solidarity, and bond between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

“The competition witnessed the participation of 100 students from diverse schools in Hanoi. It provided a unique opportunity for these young artists to express their love for their homeland and the countries of Vietnam and Russia. Additionally, it highlighted Hanoi’s rich heritage as a city of peace, creativity, and heroism,” Nam elaborated at the contest briefing.

In the primary school category, the first prize was awarded to Nguyen Phuc Hung from class 2B at Quoc Oai Town Primary School. Moving to the secondary school category, the first prize was secured by Tran Nguyen Ngan Ha from the Russian Embassy School, while the special prize was bestowed upon Fokina Kaleria, a student at the Russian Secondary School in Vietnam.
